Evoenergy, a leading supplier of gas and electricity within the ACT, recently unveiled the renewal of the South Building in Greenway, Canberra. The refurbishment aimed to enhance staff efficiency and foster unity by seamlessly integrating operations and common facilities, all the while mirroring the vibrant spirit of the organisation.
Through incorporating a combination of Acoufelt’s acoustic products, CK Architecture were able to add both functional and symbolic value to the design, capturing Evoenergy’s lively brand colours while offering spatial, textural, wayfinding, and soundscaping benefits.
Full colour acoustic wall panels in bright ‘Carrot’ line the inside of meeting booths, adding vibrant colour while maintaining the privacy of conversations held within, while Fracture wall panels in ‘Charcoal’ soften the sound generated in the surrounding corridors. Across the hallway in the open-plan workspace, Full colour acoustic wall panels in ‘Charcoal’ adorn the rooms, absorbing excess sound from conversations and calls held on the floor. At the back of the room, hanging ‘Blizzard’ Screens also in colour ‘Carrot’ help with spatial delineation, defining work zones while preserving the flow of natural light.
Over in the main boardroom, acoustic ceiling baffles in ‘Charcoal’ have been suspended over the central table to enhance sound quality and reduce echo during meetings. The sleek baffles add a modern touch while maintaining the consistent aesthetic of the office design. The juxtaposing colour palette of cool, textural greys paired with the bold orange accents align perfectly with the site’s industrial aesthetic.
By addressing both aesthetic and functional needs, Acoufelt’s products have enabled Evoenergy to create a workspace that aligns perfectly with their long-term vision and operational needs, making their headquarters a benchmark for contemporary office environments.
